Frequently Asked Questions

  • Deadlines vary by region. Check with your Region Leader or refer to the timeline on this page for specific dates.

  • Scores are submitted directly through the Locker Room platform. Detailed instructions on how to enter and save scores can be found in our Beyond the Handshake knowledge base.

  • For questions, you can reach out to your Region Leader or the National Admin team via the contact form on this page.

  • The 5Ps evaluation criteria assess each applicant’s Perseverance, Passion, Positivity, People, and Presence. Detailed scoring rubrics are provided in the Locker Room platform.

  • You will review all applicants in your region. Your Region Leader will provide a timeline for completing your reviews.

  • After all scores are submitted, Selection Committee members will come together to discuss and finalize the top candidates for their region. The Region Leader will then submit the selected names through the Handshake America Locker Room platform.

  • If you encounter technical issues, please contact the National Admin team.
